Rachel: Look I just drove over here to tell you that Harlan and I- we're just friends now. Nothing's going to happen again, I promise. Scout's honor. So you guys can go and do whatever it is you do- I dont' know- have your summer fun and tell June that we're apart, even if we're not apart 'cause nothing's gonna happen and whatever has happened has happened already- so that's the end of it.

Grace Cunningham: Fine. Now why don't you just go home and leave us all alone?

Rachel: Okay, see, I tried to be nice, but let me put this a different way because you're not really getting it right now. If you call me a name, if you throw something at me- ever again!- if I see you talking to Harlan, yelling at Harlan, having anything AT ALL to do with Harlan, I will find all of your boyfriends and I will fuck them stupid. Okay? Get it? Thanks guys. [as she's walking away]

Teacher:- Cassie?

Cassie:-Si

Teacher:-Llevas 43 minutos en un examen de 2 horas de Filosofía, y estoy bastante segura de que no has escrito nada aun.

Cassie:-No

Teacher:-Cassie... todos el mundo ha acabado los examenes y empezado las vacaciones. Y aqui estoy yo, haciendo un examen en otra fecha especialmente para ti. Asi que, vas a escribir algo?

Cassie:-No estoy segura

Teacher:-De qué?

Cassie:-De cuanto puedo esperar para empezar a escribir y aun así aprobar.

Teacher:- ...

Cassie:-Es posible disfrutar de verdad del poder?

Teacher:-Perdona?

Cassie:-Es la pregunta tres

Teacher:-No te puedo ayudar con el examen

Cassie:-Dejé de comer y todo el mundo tenía que hacer lo que yo decia. Eso era poder.

Teacher:-Y lo disfrutabas?

Cassie:-Creo que fue la epoca más feliz de mi vida. Pero tuve que parar antes de morir porque... de lo contrario no habría sido divertido... No lo entenderías.

Teacher:-Estás equivocada Cassie.

Cassie:-También te cortaste las venas?

Teacher:-La gente haría cualquier cosa para resolver lo que les hace sentir mal. No?

Cassie:-Tú lo hiciste? Resolverlo?

Teacher:- Como he dicho, no puedo ayudarte con el examen.

Cassie:-Quiero que me lo digas!

Teacher:- Qué?

Cassie:-Cómo hacer que dejen de pasar cosas malas

Teacher:-No funciona, no? Es por lo que tuviste que empezar a comer otra vez

Cassie:-Me enamoré

Teacher:-Ah, el amor.Por qué cortarte las venas cuando puedes estar enamorada?

Cassie:-Tú crees que aprobar un examen me hará feliz?

Teacher:-Cassie, aprobar examenes generalmente hace la vida más complicada. Pero hay muchas cosas que hacen la vida soportable, y ni siquiera tienes que usar un cuchillo.
